I first met Cassi nearly a decade ago when I moved to Fargo to be closer to my now husband [and attend NDSU, Go Bison!]. At the time, we had no idea where our lives would take us, and I never thought I would get to help plan her wedding all these years later, but I am so thankful that this is where our paths lead us.
You see, I don’t think I ever have, nor ever will, meet anyone quite like Cassi Jo. She has the most infectious personality, and when I say she lights up the entire room, I mean it wholeheartedly.
Being able to plan a wedding with her was a dream, she always came to meetings with gifts and wine in hand. There were so many personal touches that were incorporated into the day- artisan cheeses brought in from friends from out of state for the cocktail hour, local honey favors packaged up by Cassi and her sweet grandparents, the most adorable trio of mini donkeys [and boxes of saltine crackers for them to snack on], and lots of treasures from the Schriefer family farm.
Buffalo Gap was the perfect setting for this wedding and it was so amazing to see the whole ranch filled with all of their family and friends. One of the favorite parts of the entire wedding, besides the beautiful and intimate ceremony, were the speeches. Everyone gave the most heartfelt and funny speeches, I expect nothing less from the Schriefer family, but I just loved when Cassi Jo named all the states and countries that all the guests had traveled in from to celebrate their special day. It was so meaningful and touching to see.
Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Hammerness for letting the 701 Team be a part of your day. We wish you many years of happiness and lots of beautiful adventures.
xx
