Let’s throw if back to 2017! I know, I know, this has been a long time coming. I have posted so much of this shoot on my social media accounts, but it deserves all the love and attention it can get.
Any time I get asked by Melanie Sioux Photography to collaborate on a styled shoot, I jump on the opportunity. She is so incredibly talented and her images are absolutely stunning. When she mentions Medora, I come running.
We wanted this shoot to be rustic, yet romantic, and the Badlands were the most perfect backdrop. I gathered up my old rustic farmhouse table, a set of mismatched chairs, and some perfectly flowing chiffon fabric to drape across. I wanted to create a lot of texture in the bouquet and centerpieces so I used a mixture of silverstone roses, scabiosa pods, purple allium, mini burgundy poms, statice, fresh lavender, willow and baby blue eucalyptus, and wheat stalk from one our fields.
Our models for the day were a gorgeous couple, who are now married! The Rebecca Ingram gown provided by White Lace Bridal was so incredibly feminine and fluid.
