Wedding Songs
I got a little special treat for all you who are planning your wedding day. I usually like to post wedding design inspiration or recaps of my 701 Weddings, but I thought I would switch it up and share with you one of my all time favorites things about weddings that doesn’t have to do with decor.

I cannot begin to tell you how long I searched for the perfect songs for my own wedding day. Music is just something that is so important to me and the songs we chose truly made our day special. So today I am sharing with you some love songs that might just fit for you and your big day!
Higher Love- James Vincent Morrow
I think this is just a classic and beautiful song, so it had to be on the list!
We are Man and Wife- Michelle Featherstone
I know I am biased because this was one of my wedding songs, but I think the lyrics are so beautiful. We were married in a church so there were some regulations on music, and this one is a perfect contemporary song that is also very appropriate for a chruch ceremony.
January Wedding- The Avett Brothers
Every time I hear this song, all I can think about is a outdoor wedding with a bonfire going and all your friends and family just dancing away. It just gives me all the best vibes!
Made for you- Alexander Cardinale
My husband actually sent me this song one day, and it just made me cry. I think it would be such a great first dance song!
I just love the sound of Tom Walkers voice, so I just had to put this song here. I truly listen to it on repeat some days.
I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)- Sleeping at Last
This version of The Proclaimers song is just so lovely!
I think this song is just stunning. I personally think it would be the most gorgeous song to set your wedding video to!
Mango Tree- Angus & Julie Stone
A short sweet song, that would also equally be so wonderful for a wedding video or highlight reel!
I think I could have an entire section for Ed Sheeran songs. Seriously- Tenerife Sea, Perfect, and Kiss Me, would all make gorgeous songs for your wedding day. That guy knows how to make a love song.
I Found You- Kina Grannis & Imaginary Future
Because Kina Grannis has the most amazing voice, and these lyrics are just too sweet not to share- I searched forever through the blue.I spent the hours of my youth. And just when I thought I was through, I found you.”
May I have this Dance- Francis and the Lights
This power ballad just makes me want to dance, I think it would be such a fun and upbeat first dance song.
When I got married, I wanted an alternative song to walk down the aisle to, so I walked out to the first minute and a half of this song. The lyrics “You bring the crowd down to one” I just stared at my handsome groom and then when they sang “All my life I’ve waited for this moment now…” the crying started and I didn’t let up for pretty much the entire day.
